Roger Hosannah

Managing Director

Roger Hosannah is the founder and Managing Director of Sixtysix8 Ltd. He is a sportswear visionary and Off-Price authority with over two decades of experience working with a number of sports leagues, world class brands, licensing organisations, distributors and manufacturers.

Roger worked for The Burton Group and Debenhams PLC as a Senior Sportswear Buyer, leaving to launch the HOSANA sportswear brand. Specializing in basketball clothing and accessories, the company had long term licensing partnerships with Major League Baseball and over sixty US Colleges, selling through high street multiple retailers such as Allsports, JD Sports and Footlocker Europe.

The fluent German speaker, later became the senior member of the TJX Europe Active Sportswear buying team, which was based out of Watford, Dusseldorf and New York city. He developed and successfully implemented a variety of innovative strategies for this Off-Price sports retail power.

Roger continues to work with some of the biggest and best sports brands, distributors and leagues in Europe and North America. These partnerships have been enhanced by the Brand Protection and Intellectual Property-specifically trade mark development-Sponsorship and Image Rights services that Sixtysix8 now offer.

Edmund Harrison

Intellectual Property Consultant

Sixtysix8 are legally advised by Edmund Harrison of Mewburn Ellis, who are one of Europe’s top specialist Intellectual Property firms. Edmund was recognised as “excellent‘ and ‘knowledgeable” in the 2017 and 2021 editions of The Legal 500.

Edmund specialises in trade mark work, dealing with a wide range of issues including prosecution of applications, opposition, revocation and invalidity actions in the UK and EUIPO, and internationally outside the EU. He is highly experienced in negotiating and concluding settlement agreements and in conducting hearings and appeals before the UKIPO.

He has also taken cases to the European Court of First Instance and has successfully reclaimed domain names for clients using Domain Name Dispute Resolution Proceedings. He has experience in a wide range of industry sectors including consumer products (in particular FMCGs and sporting goods), food & beverage, nanotech, Medtech, pharmaceuticals, computer software, transport and semiconductors.

Edmund has extensive experience of managing international portfolios of trade marks for multinational companies, as well as smaller companies or individuals. He has advised Roger Hosannah on all trademarks issue relating to Sixtysix8 and the HOSANA Sportswear business for over a decade. He also recently concluded successful domestic and international applications for the Private Ballerr brand.

Edmund is a “commercially minded” lawyer and his experience in clearance searches, filing applications and prosecuting oppositions is second to none.

Michelle works with CEO’s, individuals and senior leadership teams to create solutions steeped in strategic insight and cultural context to find new ways to challenge inequalities. Michelle is the winner of the 2016 UK Precious Award for ‘Outstanding Woman in Sport’, a Football Black List award and an esteemed national Change Maker award. Michelle is a trustee for SportsAid, advisor to the Women’s Sport Trust and a senior honorary lecturer for the University of Worcester.

Boateng

Design Consultant

Kojo Boateng is an award-winning multidisciplinary designer and creative director. His work as a product designer includes working for Human After All, Wordeo App, VPAR Golf He has worked for Complex Media, NPG Group, BBC, ITV and Universal Music. He was formerly creative director at ITN and ITV News.

Boateng has contributed to numerous awards including Promax/BDA Europe Award for Virtual Set Design, BAFTA: Best News Coverage 2014, The Murder of Lee Rigby, RTS Best News programme 2005-2009. His work has been featured in the Design Week, Creative Review, The Guardian, The Times and The Telegraph. His work for ITV News is featured in the book ‘Color Works’ authored by Eddie Opara and published by Rockport.

Michael Hosannah

Design Consultant

Michael Hosannah is a creative director with over 20 years industry experience. He has worked for the marketing and business development teams of one of the largest accountancy firms in the world and a magic circle law firm. He currently works for a multinational company, managing a team of designers working on accounts for some of the world's biggest brands.

MIchael is employed by Sixtysix8 on a consultancy basis, with the Ekkic Face Cover campaign an example of his most recent work.

Dean Ricketts founded The Watch-Men Agency in 1989, a strategic and creative agency specialising in 'how people live in cities or if you prefer 'urban culture'. He has an extensive background in fashion, music and image management.

The agency now has a wide variety of clients through fashion/styling, music: AFROPUNK - festival creating a music workshop, international theatre consultancy with Terra Kulture, lifestyle: the sneaker talk series A Sneaker Society and a strong reputation for reaching specialist audiences and opinion leaders.
